 FOOD IS SO EXPENSIVE. a CUP of soup is 15 dollars.... but so gooddd. typical swiss dish is hashbrowns and sausage and bacon smothered with swiss cheese....RRREAAL swiss cheese (so good)

this weekend we went to the venice for the italian equivalent of american mardi gras- super super fun.  even though it was freEEEEEzing cold (yep still breaking records since the 1970's), it was still pretty as ever.  at the grocery store, which was super busy, i saved a spot for an older women and all the other women got so mad and were yelling at us and so the woman bought my bar of soap!!!! grazie MILLE!!!!  on the way home on the train, something broke one of the back cars, and so we were stuck in a DARK TUNNEL for THREE HOURS.  i started getting claustro!!!! but yeah, good to be back- it felt so weird/crazy/awesome coming back to florence feeling sooo comfortable like i own the place.  miss you all!!! i miss cuddling and hugs and lovin!!
